This Valentines Day I would skip the movie theaters and stick to the standard roses and chocolates. Despite the fact the fact that The Vow was released just in time for February 14th, this chick flick falls just a little short.
Based on a true story, the film opens with Leo (Channing Tatum) and Paige (Rachel McAdams) a young married couple, getting into a tragic car accident. When Paige finally wakes from her coma, she can’t remember the last five years of her life - or meeting and marrying Leo. From there the film goes on to show Leo’s journey to convincing and helping Paige fall back in love with him.
On paper this film should have been the next Notebook, but misses the mark with a slow start and not so captivating finish.

Hit or miss: I wouldn’t say this film is an entire miss, but it is definitely not the tearjerker I was expecting.
MVP: Channing Tatum definitely stole the spotlight in this film, proving his acting goes beyond action films and a pretty face. However his shirtless scenes seemed to be some of the best!
Quote of the film: “Life’s all about moments of impact, and how they change our lives forever. But what if one day you could no longer remember any of them?” -Leo
